Development workshops

Skills and competencies are personality traits, behaviors and interpersonal interactions that we all use to interact with other people and throughout life we can learn them and thus develop.

Development workshops are focused on the development of certain skills and competencies and are held in a group of 10 to 12 participants. They last from 1 to 3 days and can be open or ‘in-house’ – organized for the needs of a particular client according to his requirements.

Adult education is a social activity whose goal is the liberation of man and multifaceted development of his personality.

The methodology on which our work is based is andragogy, i.e. adult learning. In accordance with it, our main hypothesis is that attendees already come with some knowledge, experience, and attitude. Our role is to facilitate their learning process, i.e. to be a learning moderator who:

encourages them to become aware of areas that need to be developed or improved

helps them experiment with new methods, tools and behaviors in a “safe” environment

copes with their resistance to change

motivates them to look at the same things through "new glasses"

through a workshop, works actively on solving real problems from their practice

Attendees are continuously stimulated to think, react, and connect with each other to figure out what they can do differently and transfer their insights to the work environment. This process is actually Kolb’s learning process that follows the following steps:

concrete experience (see, hear, feel, experience)

reflection, observation (reflect on previous experience)

abstract conceptualization (logical analysis of collected information, generation of conclusions)

active experimentation (application of acquired knowledge in practice)
